10U/12U/14U Comp Summer Session

Our Youth Competitive Summer Water Polo Session is a 13-week program that will run April 22nd through July 23rd/28th. This session is open to all boys and girls, ages 8-14. One session of water polo is recommended, but not required. All participants must be comfortable in the water (swim 50 yards unassisted and tread water for one minute).

This competitive program is designed to teach all athletes the technical and tactical water polo skills needed to compete at the highest level of play. Athletes in this program will compete in both regional and national-level tournaments.

Team Suits

All athletes will be required to purchase a team suit. The team suit must be worn to all scrimmages, games, and tournaments. Athletes who do not arrive with a team suit to any scrimmage, game, or tournament will not be allowed to participate.

All registered athletes will receive more information on how to purchase a team suit.

USA Water Polo Membership

All athletes are required to have a current USA Water Polo membership in order to participate in our summer water polo session. The USAWP membership covers the necessary insurance to participate in practices, scrimmages, and games.

USAWP offers three levels of membership. Any athlete is plans to particiapte in Junior Olympic Qualifying and/or National Junior Olympics is requried to have a "gold" level membership. Any athlete who does not wish to participate in Junior Olympic Qualifying and/or National Junior Olympics is requried to have a "bronze" level membership. To purchase a USAWP membership, visit www.usawaterpolo.org.

USA Water Polo Age-Up Date

USA Water Polo uses an age-up date to determine the age of each athlete. According to USAWP, your athlete's is determined by what their age is on August 1st of each year.
     - if you were born on April 15, 2012, then your age is 12
     - if you were born on September 15, 2012, then your age is 11

Fees & Registration

Registration for our Summer Water Polo Session will open shortly. Login to your club account to register. If you are new to Cal Republic, you must first create a club membership by clicking the "Registration" tab at the top of the page, then click "New Member Registration." The registration fee is $595 (12U/14U) and $575 (10U). Sibling discounts available. The registration fee will include all practices, scrimmages, and local tournaments.

Athletes will not be billed upon registration. The billing date for our summer session is Wednesday, May 15th. No refunds issued after May 15th. There will be an additional fee to participate in the Junior Olympics Qualifying, Futures Super Final, and National Junior Olympics.
